🌼 Pretty things for you and your home 🌼

My Mom was always sewing clothes for my siblings and me. We never had a holiday without matching outfits when I was little. :) My Grandma was a professional seamstress. For as far back as I can remember, she was sewing. Doing alterations in her home, people going in and out with clothes for her to tailor. She even made the bridesmaid dresses for my wedding. They were both my inspiration to start sewing.

When I was older, I saw some rag quilts at a fair and on a tv show and loved how soft and pretty they looked. In 2007, I started making totes and added quilts a couple of years later. I enjoy helping customers decorate their homes with quilts and decor that's pretty! Putting fabrics together for a customer who's asked me to help her make her dream quilt is my favorite thing to do. Then, when she receives the quilt and is thrilled with how it looks in her living room or bedroom, that is the best feeling!

I hope my Mom and Grandma would be proud to know that their love for sewing continues with me and that I'm getting to help people decorate their homes with pretty quilts and carry pretty totes.
