My name is Sarah Stussy and I started Bellarageous in April '08. Wondering about the name of my company? Well, it was inspired by my husband's nickname for me: "Bella" means beautiful in Italian. I added the "rageous" because then it would mean "outrageously beautiful!" I started this company because I've always had a love for design, creativity, and I enjoy sewing. My mother taught me to sew when I was a little girl; she learned from my grandmother, who sewed custom wedding dresses all her life. I'm thankful to them for teaching me the wonderful art of sewing! I am excited about building my home business now that I'm married and expecting our first baby - a boy!
My goal with Bellarageous is to produce creative, unique, high quality sewing creations at a reasonable price. I love doing custom items because it's a joy to see people get excited about their item made just the way they want it. I enjoy dreaming up new ideas and figuring out how to make them. Each handbag, baby bag, apron, or other accesory will be made with care and quality, as I am somewhat of a perfectionist! I hope you enjoy my creations! To God be the glory.
