Announcement
APRIL 21 2024 ITHE SHIP HAS RUN A GROUND, I DISLOCATED MY WRIST SO I ASK FOR PATIENCE WHEN SHIPPING AS I AM GETTING HELP FROM FRIENDS .
SORRY NO CUSTOM ORDERS RIGHT NOW. NOT SURE HOW LONG BEFORE I CAN START CREATING POTTERY AGAIN AFTER SURGERY.
Handmade Raku and oxidation pottery and sculpture by Diane De Baun. Unique ceramic coil built pots, incense burners, aromatherapy diffusers, blessing/offering bowls. Buddhist, pagan, goddess, Hecate, dragonflies and many animals are some of my special designs.
Thank you for visiting!
My hand-built pottery is formed by the ancient art of coil building and slab work. I use two glaze techniques; oxidation firing, and raku firing, allowing me to play with a wide color pallet and different textures. Each piece is a unique result of the hand building and firing process.
I like to use a lot of symbols in my work that represent the different spiritual traditions of the world. Many are ancient.
Many of my designs are made with stamps that I have carved using my original designs. I also use wooden stamps carved by different peoples from around the world.
I have Egyptian Designs, designs from nature such as butterfly, dragonflies, wolves, dolphins, Buddhist designs, Wiccan and Pagan designs, Goddess designs.
Some of my items are decorative bowls, blessing or offering bowls, essential oil or aromatherapy diffusers, pots, shrines or altars.
I have so many designs I can't put them all up so I welcome inquiries for your favorite design.
I do ship to Canada and Europe and else where. Please contact me and I will figure shipping charges if an item is not listed for shipping to your country.
Thanks and Blessings to all of you who have bought from me or just visited!

Owner, Creator
As a child I use to draw alot, starting in kindergarten. Later I got into making paper flowers and a few other crafts. I also loved dance! I took drawing and painting in college and then I tried pottery and it stuck! That was over 30 yrs ago.
