Welcome - I'm offering new styles of signs along side my Hand Painted Wood Signs. CNC Engraved Signs and Laser engraved signs and other items are coming out of the woodshop this spring along with new hand painted designs.
Each CNC / Laser sign is Ready To Ship, and each are unique pieces of art, no 2 are identical. These signs will ship within 3 days of purchase, be sure to check them out.
Production is right at 7-12 days from Paid Order for hand painted signs . Please check Ship By date to see when to expect your sign once your order is placed.
Please Remember that I ship gifts directly to your recipient, wrapped and ready to open as a gift.

Our Hand Painted Wood signs are Primitive in style and many in Verse, but we do offer many that are what we like to call " Off The Beaten Path"... these signs are listed under the Adult Sign & Hippie sections. FHP has NO intention of offending anyone, so please use caution if this type of thing can offend you, as said, its not our intent. Not at all. We offer signs for all lifestyles & personality types.
All of our signs are Hand Painted Unless otherwise stated, (meaning a CNC carved or Laser engraved sign) - Our signs are not Vinyl letters/designs stuck on wood. Each sign is Hand Painted just for you when ordered using stencils and handwork; each sign is uniquely different due to grain, knots & paint brush strokes. Each sign is made one at a time. Using top grade locally sourced white knotty pine that was grown & cut right here in the USA. All wood is 3/4 of an inch thick. There is a multi step process to our painting/staining/aging & distressing techniques a total of 14 steps before its painted. Paints are all Latex and Lead Free. Each sign may vary slightly due to the nature of the wood & grain. & sizes are always within an 1/2 inch of stated size due to wood cut variations. There are slight imperfections from sign to sign, but each one is hand worked & loved before it reaches your home. They are completely finished on both the front, back & sides. all sanded smooth and finished with my hand rubbed Beeswax Finish. We've have been told our finished signs resemble fine cabinetry in appearance & feel. They are primitive, but not beat up :) & they age well!

ALL ORDERS are started within 2 hours of your order being placed. Please Cancel within 2 hours; once your sign has been started , there is no cancellation without fees if the cancellation is 2 hours after order was placed, A 35% charge will deducted from your refund after 2 hours of placed order. We gladly combine shipping to save you as much money on shipping as we can....actual shipping charges. If you purchase multiple listings and are billed a ridiculous amount for shipping, please know as soon as I pull your order and weigh your signs a full refund of any overage will be issued...shipping overages are refunded when your shipping labels are printed.
Payments accepted are Etsy Direct & PayPal ... all items will ship by USPS Priority Mail. All orders ship according to the ship time in each listing. If you need it sooner, contact us and we'll see what we can do for you :)

Yes!! To be honest, custom signs are my favorite signs to create.
Care instructions
All of my signs are finished in my Hand Rubbed Beeswax Finish. Care is simple, no cleaning products, just a soft clean dry cloth, It will buff to a shine for generations to come!
Why do other sellers have my designs
Good Question...
All sign Makers can purchase the same files and therefore you will have sellers offering the same designs.
I use some purchased designs as well but I also have my own personal designed line of designs/signs. Words are words, but please understand some are protected;
This is where it can get sticky, when others don't have the integrity or respect for fellow sign makers and blatantly copy.

Every Foothill Primitives Original will state so in the listing. My Welcome to the Porch Where wasting Time Is Well Wasted is a great example of MY original verse, & my Neighbor who listen to good music. No integrity, none.

Do you water proof your signs? May to Oct Only!!

Due to outrageous Price increase, I can NO longer offer this service Free of Charge. Please purchase waterproofing listing before check out.
If you'd like water proofing, please PURCHASE the separate listing for water proofing before checking out.
Please Note Water proofing adds 2 days to your production time due to cure time.
I do want to note that ALL signs water proofed will not have the same luster as a waxed sign. In other words, it won't look the same as it does in photos.
Can you Buy One of my designs?
No, I do not sell my designs or SVG files. I am a sign maker. I don't sell designs, at least not at this time. You never know what the future holds though. :)
