I have been collecting sparkles for decades. I have created jewelry off and on for longer. I am no longer able to create the way I demand of myself due to hand issues, in my eyes the quality began to suffer. My favorite creations were made from folded filigree surrounding glass. I can no longer control the tools or tolerate the pain associated with the process, thus causing symmetry dilemma. I have concluded that the only way for me to continue to be a part of the creative world I love is to share my massive collection with other artists.

I continue to hunt for rare and vintage jewels as it is an obsession that shall not wane ;)

I am able to continue to blacken brass components as it requires no physical demands, only patience. I began to teach my son how to set stones when he was 4 years old. Together we set stones in aged or blackened settings to give new life to my sparkles. We watch movies, tell goofy stories and laugh while we spend this time together. The pretty little boxes your jewels arrive in are mostly folded by my son, he can whip out about 30 an hour lol. He loves to print my labels and package them for shipping as well. As a mother this makes me feel great pride. These are beginning skills he can use later in life, learning how to take a project from start to finish is so very important. If only I could get him to do this when cleaning his room.....
