I am Louise... the mom of the 4RetroSisters... and I love working with my daughters, daughter-in-law and now my granddaughters.

The word "Retro" has become a more endearing word the older I get. I grew up in those retro years of the 50's and 60's. I feel that to know who you are you must relish in those happy, lazy days of the past, yet try your best to enjoy the crazy, busy days of the present.

Aprons were common place in the homes and kitchens of those days gone by. Memories were made up of a cotton apron being worn by my mom while baking a coconut cake... or when my Italian Grandmother would wipe her spaghetti sauced hands on the kitchen towel fashioned into an apron around her waist.

Those retro years for me were filled with the music of Elvis, The Beatles and the Beach Boys, lazy days of riding my bike, driving my favorite car of all time a used 65' Mustang, and playing jacks were all good memories. The beach was where you would find me on a hot summer day. California sea shells were collected, comic books read and party lines were endured until it was our turn to use the telephone. Presently, the beach is a distance away, but my ever supportive husband and biggest fan takes me there yearly.

We like to think that we bring a little of those retro years back, through these aprons that are lovingly made. We love to imagine all of the women from all walks of life as these aprons are sent around the world ... apron clad working and playing in their homes.

Our hope is this: That from the use of our aprons, treasured memories will come to mind from those days gone by and that many happy memories will be made in your "Home Sweet Home" ... no matter where it may be! Louise & Girls
