I’m a sentimental fool. I save things to remind me of good times and good people. I started saving corks and labels from bottles when I was still a student to help me remember fun parties or special occasions when I was far from home. But, instead of putting them away in a scrap book I crafted ways to incorporate them into my home décor.

My family entertains a lot with an extensive home bar. We also have a house full of family heirloom furniture. And, since I’d rather not remember a dinner party by water rings on my great aunt’s console table or mission style armchair, we use coasters. That’s why I offer so many coasters in my shop – coasters are important.

Entertaining friends and family feeds my creative spirit and offers plenty of raw materials for crafting. The party remnants of bottles, corks, and caps go to my workshop instead of the recycling bin and become gifts for others. I combine my desire to save sentimental items with my love of creating things and the feelings of fun from our parties.

The items for sale in my shop utilize materials from our parties, but I welcome opportunities to work with you to save sentimental items from your own parties. Please let me know if you have a special request, I’d love to hear your ideas and your memories.
