We have been in the arts and crafts ‘business’ for almost 30 years, and our workforce consists of father, mother, daughter and son-in-law. We are very blessed to be able to work together, and we get to inspire each other daily. We started out making homemade baskets, then moved into driftwood about 15 years ago. Driftwood is certainly a more playful and imaginative medium to work with - we like to refer to what we do as “wabi-sabi’ because none of the three of us are perfectionist - and we find a lot of joy in the pieces of wood that wash ashore for us to work with. All of our items are one-of-a-kind. They have been made to last for years by the water hardening the wood and giving each piece its own unique character.
