In 2011 I made the leap--I opened my ETSY shop and became a seller instead of a buyer. I had been collecting for more than 50 years. It probably began in my late childhood, when I traveled internationally with my parents and saw clothing and home accents that I had never seen before. When I later married and moved to New England, it really took off. We had bought a Victorian home and had absolutely nothing to put in it. Seventeen years later, when the house was sold, the attic and basements were filled with overflow--I had learned so much from my own personal collecting as well as stumbling on great buys . Now I find myself in the downsizing stage and in the process have met so many new collectors-learned even more and found such satisfaction in knowing my things are going to those who appreciate the quality and timeless style. The items in my shop are my own--both the clothes and home decor. Questions and suggestions are welcome.
