Announcement    OUR STORY: A GRAND RE-OPENING

About a year ago, right when Aim4beauty was put on hold, my mom was diagnosed with liver cirrhosis (end stage liver failure). While this is common among heavy drinkers or people with hepatitis, the doctors never figured out how or why my mom's liver was declining. She persevered though! Made light out of any dark and was an inspiration to all who were dealing with the same life threatening disease. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough. The doctors sent her to a nursing facility which gave her 24/7 care and constant love. Boy, despite the circumstance, she was a real shining star!

Months had gone by and while her spirit was bright, the body couldn't make the cut. Each day was a struggle but my mom, seeing the beauty in everything, made them worthwhile. It was a joy to visit her and see a smile on her face. Despite the situation, my mom continued to bring everyone up! She would joke and laugh with the nurses, gave them gifts when she could and praised their work by the minute. She was loved by the nurses, her family and friends... anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
So its with a heavy heart to say she's no longer with us. The liver eventually gave up and so did the body. But by no means has her spirit left. Her beauty survives and it's because of this alone that my husband and I decided to continue her legacy, selling beautiful handmade jewelry and vintage watch pieces to all! We believe, just like my mom, to always Aim for beauty. Because that's what she did.
