My name is Alexandra Betzler and I am a visual artist who creates acrylic paintings of houses and urban landscapes. I approach my painting practice as an observation of place, light and composition. My perspective is informed by my experience of living in Minneapolis and Saint Paul, and exploring the Twin Cities. I work to capture and document a street level perspective so as to understand and appreciate how individual stories, histories, and places fit together.
