Announcement    Hello there

Here you can find original drawings and paintings by me: Lexey a.k.a 'The Disgruntled Barista'. I am a working artist in Tucson, AZ with ties to the Pacific Northwest and New England. These "ties' keep me connected to scenes and cultures that inspire my work and keep me sane. I like to think of myself as people centric. I thrive in scenes by the people and for the people: concerts, coffee shops, cities, farmers markets, homeless shelters, libraries, circumstantial chaos. I call these scenes: Scenescapes.
I also am inspired by the Tucson desert that I live in. Here you can find the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show; which takes over this fair city every January and February. I have been painting mineral specimens for several years now and find them beautiful and inspiring.
