I hope my Aawesome Aardvark shoppers notice the wide variety of things living in AlteredAardvark. It is a sign of either my infinite interests or my wackadoodle nature.

AlteredAardvark arrived when the Upcycled/Recycled section of my TangoPony vintage shop decided to run away from home. "Upcycled/Recycled" was a pretty boring shop name, so I went aawesome aanimal hunting. Guess what's at the top of the list?

Aardvark means "earth pig" but is also called "ant bear". It's already a thing that is something else. Aar-aar-aar!

I really can't help myself. Whenever I encounter an old, forgotten something, I hallucinate. I see that the old, forgotten something can become something else. I don't start out deciding to make something, the 'thing' always dictates what it is going to be.

I am inspired by the list of the 43 uses for WD-40 and my father, who taught me that creativity is not optional.
