Turning Loss Into a Lifelong Search for Vintage Memories

When I was 16, I lost my grandparents and aunts in a car accident and it changed my life forever. As I grew older I realized I had so many memories of their home and lives that I missed so much. I remember how my grandmother used vintage items and all the things they passed down to us. I realized that so many things I was raised with and that were passed down to me still had real world practicality. It wasn't long before I was collecting things and when I was looking for some stress relief from my social work jobs, I began thrifting, antique shopping and perusing garage and estate sales. With each purchase I realized I not only could relive moments of my own life but share those things with others who would appreciate them as well. I realized I had a real knack for picking out quality, usable items and getting them to people who can still appreciate and use them. And so began my store.
