I've always displayed my paintings on every gap of wall at home. Sometimes, even before I’d done final touches, my hubby would have put it up, always commenting that my pieces are beautiful & should be on show. My thoughts on that? He’s my hubby. Of course he’ll say that, but can he really like my work as much as I do? I finally accepted that he did when I’d started having to take pieces down to hang new ones 😊

When my family started asking for paintings, I began to do pieces for them too. They also wanted original (and unique prints) that I’d done and clearly loved my pieces!

As time went on other people (friends and friends of friends) were asking for pieces too because they didn't have any paintings on their walls and because they wanted to give them to loved ones as gifts. They asked for custom pieces too; sketches of their children, paintings of their wedding day and artwork for CD covers. I saw that people loved and wanted my paintings. I realised that it was time that I set up an online shop to enable people with a love of my art to be able to easily get the pieces they wanted and to easily contact me for custom orders.

All my pieces are still made with love. I find art is like that, you do it for love and, I try to make the custom orders that are all about love (the anniversary and valentines gifts especially) show that love.

It takes a lot for me to give my pieces away but it’s always a great feeling to know that someone else loves a piece as much as I do.
