5 out of 5 starsThis little bowl is so perfect! I bought it for a coworker who has 4 Guinea pigs & got married this past weekend. So beautifully made, I hope she loves it as much as I do!

5 out of 5 starsThis is such a unique and beautiful piece! The seller did a great job wrapping it in bubble tape and tissue paper before placing it in packaging and then writing on both sides that it was fragile and pottery. The seller also wrote a nice handwritten thank you note as well as sent another added goody that I wasn’t expecting. I will certainly purchase from them again.

5 out of 5 starsThe drawing is gorgeous such a great job! I love it so much!!! I really like the item it's so cute, it's also a gift for my best friend. The only issue is the brown spot on the dish is a bit disappointing but I guess something must of happened with the glaze or something I'm not really sure but otherwise it's really nice

Frequently asked questions
Do you use photo manipulated decals or prints?
Heck NO! Each of these ring dishes is hand drawn. I do not use tracings, decals, stamps or prints like so many others do.
Sadly, although they may say handmade, many other shops will scan your photo, hit some preset commands , print a decal then place it on a commercially made mass produced mug or dish. For some people that is fine. However for those who want true one of a kind items, I use my hands and observation skills to draw each and every animal. They are each small works of art. No two are exactly alike.
Are these mass produced ceramic dishes?
These are NOT mass produced commercial dishes. Each is a handmade ceramic dish made by me. I don’t use commercially made dish ware that is mass produced. I only use my own ceramic clay that I roll out and cut by hand.
The mass produced dishware typically made overseas (to keep costs down) is slipcast clay and poured into molds. They create thousands on assembly lines, then fire them in room size kilns. Uniformity is what they strive for and are what you typically find at restaurants or superstores. When you see rows and rows of mugs that look exactly the same, they were mass produced commercially.
Handmade items are each unique.
Do you use photo-edited images to create your dishes?
Absolutely NOT. I hand draw each and every image with a special ceramic pencil. Some shops take your pets image and work with photo editing software, use preset commands, that use a tracetool and push up contrast of your image. Then they print it out on a printer as a decal. They slap your pet's image on mass produced mugs or dishes. And sadly, there is very little to no personal artistry involved.
My items are each individually drawn on each dish. It is the same drawing skills as 500 years ago: by hand and by observation. If Leonardo or Michelangelo came to my studio, they would know exactly how I draw each animal and would get to work right away. It would take them a lot longer to understand other shop;s photo-editing software. :-)
Can you do custom pet or animal portraits?
Absolutely yes! There is a listing for custom ring dishes or coasters. Typically will be ready within 2 to 3 weeks. Often sooner!
Can you create custom animal dishes for each of our guests?
Yes, I am happy to work with brides and party coordinators. The ring dishes and coasters make great gifts for bridesmaids and groomsmen and is a wonderful one of a kind item that they will treasure. Especially if it has a hand drawing of their pet or favorite animal. I would just need a date to ship by so that you will get them in time.
How can you tell that a ceramic dish is handmade?
Typically the way to see if it is handmade is that each item looks a tiny bit different, because hand made items are each unique. They vary a bit on the rims or on the handles typically. Factory made ceramics all are EXACTLY the same because they are mass produced slipcast in a mold on an assembly line...think restaurant ware. Hand made items are heartfelt works of art.
