Announcement    Tie on an apron! Feel the love and renew a family tradition.

My grandmother, Zina Alene Stinson, was the heartbeat of the Crittenden Hotel in Elkton, Kentucky. People in town called my grandma's hotel, Stinson's Boarding House. Grandma Zinnie always wore aprons. She tended and cared for her hotel as if it were one of her children. She poured her heart, soul and love into everything she did...cooking meals, cleaning rooms, doing laundry, working the garden out back, preserving the season's bounty, sewing clothing and curtains. She also loved everyone she met . She was a giant of a woman although she was not even five feet tall. Grandma taught her daughters to sew (and a million other thrifty life knowledges). My mother, Gui Eula Stinson Boyd, carries on Grandma Zinnie's legacy of making do and making over. Since I was a small child, my mother sewed my clothing, and also made beautiful aprons for my teachers at Christmas time. It is important to me that we treasure and continue the simple, natural ways of life, and continue to bestow these traditions to our children and grandchildren.

We have adapted the work horse apron to become our personal fashion statement, decorative accessory and to express our own personality.

As my passion for this craft grows, I am always experimenting with new techniques and styles of aprons. It is my goal to create unique, functional, stylish, top quality aprons with great attention to detail, to complement your busy life.

The core aprons in my collection, Chef-Butcher-BBQ style, are the most functional types of aprons, giving you excellent coverage and protection for your clothing. Pockets are a must. Neck straps and waist sashes are extra-long for maximum versatility. I also love to create personalized aprons, half aprons and vendor aprons!

Each apron is lovingly handcrafted, proudly made in the USA, and made to last for years.
