Treasure Hunter

As a child, my mom would take me to antique auctions in Dallas and let me bid on my favorite items. Today I find wonderful treasures at auctions, estate sales, small town flea markets and even garage sales. I can't get over why anyone would let some things go. Since I live in a modern cottage, I can't keep it all and I have reverted back to my roots and this shop gives me that outlet. I consider each item a treasure. It has been loved and I find it a new home where it will be loved again. I research each item and try to pass along a price that is competitive or below market price. Some items I have redesigned or upcycled so my time and supplies are involved. I am having the time of my life and I hope it shows. By the way, the baby zebra is in my living room. Found that on a hunt back home in Dallas.
