1 out of 5 starsI've thought of all kinds of scenarios as to why the entire eyes and mechanism in the head would have been shattered. A ton of bubble around a doll does NOT protect the small things inside a head. They should have been padded to prevent any looseness. But I keep coming back to why you insisted on insurance AFTER I paid. Whatever, this is a prime example of those who sell for that smell of cold, hard cash and those that collect and send you money. The doll was 90 years old & now useless for any walking (even THAT was a lie...one leg was completely useless). The eyes can be replaced, but her walking days with them shutting is over. Don't even throw out the "insurance word" to me. THAT was to protect you and we both know it. Do all buyers a favor & don't mail anymore poor bisque dolls. Stick with the plastic ones?

I have never received any personal communication from this buyer about any problem or issue. I send all breakable items insured.Sending items across country is always a risk, hence the insurance. This doll was never advertised as a walking doll. It was advertised as a "parts" doll.
