Beech Creek Gourds is my passion. I am Joan Appelt and this is my dream retirement. I grow, design and craft my gourds in Clifton, TN, a wonderful piece of heaven in Middle TN.
Each gourd is unique. I employ various techniques (which is what I love about gourding!) including burning, coloring and carving.
I will entertain ideas for custom gourds. I recently completed custom orders for "Sunflower" & "Blue Crab" themes.

5 out of 5 starsI love the mask. The copper feathers are unique and wonderful. Joan took exceptional care in packing it and also instructions on the best way to remove it from the box. I also love the copper tack on the copper head band.
