What's the difference between 1 fl oz and 1 oz? Why are your glitters more $?

Thanks for asking! So my glitter is ACTUALLY CHEAPER than glitters that you see that come in 1 fl oz. How is that? Fluid ounces are measured by volume, NOT WEIGHT. 1 fl oz in actual weight is actually about 1/2 oz, or 14.1 grams. So when you buy an oz (28.3 grams) by actual weight you actually save money because the cost is less per gram. You'd have to spend about $8 in other shops to get the same amount of glitter that I offer for $5.50-6 for squares, hex, fiber and star glitters.

Can I use your glitters in resin to make jewelry or in acrylic for nails?

Yes, absolutely! My glitters are great for this and many other things!

Which glitters can I use for slime?

Every glitter available in my shop can be used for slime! That means both the solvent resistant and non-solvent resistant glitters can be used in your slime creations. The solvent resistant ones will not tint your slime a different color, whereas the other glitters (unless they are silver) may add a color to your slime. Because of this I don't recommend adding different color glitters that are not solvent resistant to a single batch of slime, might not know what color you'll get.

How do I know if a glitter is solvent resistant?

It should say in the listing. No neon glitter is considered solvent resistant by the manufacturer but I have found many do work well in nail polish without bleeding, I'll usually have a note in the ones that do.

What is solvent resistant glitter?

Solvent resistant glitter is glitter that resists bleeding and curling in solvents like nail polish. They can be used in pretty much every kind of craft you might want to make. They can even be used in your slimes and WILL NOT change the color of them! Now if you are making a clear slime it may look like the slime has taken on the dominant color glitter you added in but that's just because of the light reflecting off the glitter.

How do I make glitter nail polish?

First thing you need is glitter nail polish suspension base. While I don't currently carry this in the shop there are many places online you can purchase it from. If you don't want to buy it online you can pick up inexpensive simple glitter polish from Wet n Wild and other drug store brands.
Mix your polish in a container, pouring in the suspension base first and then small amounts of pigment or other polishes until you achieve the color you like. Remember not to put too much color or you will mask the glitter!
Next mix in the glitters you want, usually a small amount-usually no more than 1/2 tsp per bottle is good.
Pour your polish into a nail polish bottle along with 1-2 agitators and shake.
Congrats now you have a custom polish!

Can I order a custom glitter mix?

Yes! I ask that you get 1/2 oz $6, or 1 oz $11 minimum. If you want a lb of a custom mix the cost would be $90. Why so much? It takes a lot of time for me to find all the glitters and mix them up into something nice.

Can I get sample sizes?

Yes! Most samples are $1 or $1.50 depending on the shape and come as 1/2 tbsp in a plastic baggie.
