I started wielding needle and thread before I learned to spell. My mother taught me how to make bean bags and barbie dresses to satisfy my fixation for fabric and color. All my life I have just enjoyed making beautiful things. As I grew into my pre-teens I developed an addiction to baking chocolate chip cookies weekly--which addiction has since lead me to become a lover of food, baking and cooking.
Really, I've always loved to pretend like I was a little homemaker, which is why I got a bachelors degree in Family and Consumer science education--to hopefully inspire a few more homey creators.
When I'm not creating sweet little fabric creations, I'm satisfying my thirst for color, exploring my little town, pulling weeds or birdwatching with my beloved Mr. Wood.
