My Inspiration to learn to make hand made and hand sewn Teddy Bears, birds and eventually elephants started in Buxton, England in 2004. This is where my Nana lives. The inspiration from here has taken me back to Canada with this in mind, and this inspiration is this resulting ETSY site, website, and Facebook page. By 2011, I decided with much encouragement from my husband, and very dear friend in Australia, to open a shop (website), and in parallel to that, an ETSY shop.

From a very young age, I was taught how to sew. Sewing was always a hobby and from then on, trying my hand at different crafts in the sewing world, new things my Nana would come up with, she would show me, and I would follow her lead.

Anytime I visited my Nana in England, I would always work on a new project with her, and bring that idea, and inspiration home to Montreal with me.

Sewing, crafting, whatever you wish to call it, is soothing, and comforting, and keeps my mind and hands busy and in sync with each other.

My main hobby is creating new bears, elephants and Luvdoves! But occasionally I get my hands into paint, hammers, nails, screwdrivers, when the hands, body and mind need to be active. I enjoy purpose, giving items a second chance at life, a new life of purpose

I always save the ribbons of packages, or old buttons, & anything whimsical! I draw inspiration from saving these items.

I like to obtain one offs, last of the bolt, interesting fat-quarters, and unique prints, you might not find widely available.
