I love kitchens, the things in them, and the stories they tell.

While growing up I spent a lot of time in my grandmother's kitchen. It was a busy and wonderful place. It was a working place. It was filled with gadgets, plates, pots and pans, rolling pins, coffee cups ---everything a kitchen needs for everyday life -- even a wood burning stove.

The love of kitchens and cooking never left me as I moved on in my career as an architect and raising children. Collecting and learning about vintage kitchenware has always been a significant part of my life. Having a vintage kitchenware shop on etsy is a part of the passion.
