Greetings from an artsy cat lover who loves manipulating images and colors and textures. Digital "painting" is an amazing way to express emotions, dreams and alternate expressions of reality.

Some of my cards start out as a photograph and by altering the shape or color I can change the mood minimally or radically, depending on what I see or imagine. Other designs stem from manipulation of color, shapes and patterns.

Oscar Wilde said,

“No artist ever sees things as they really are. If he did he would cease to be an artist.”

When someone looks at my Art Cards I hope they see something that reminds them of something wonderful!

My cards are 5x7 and all are printed by me, on Premium, Heavy Weight Professional Card Stock By Red River Paper. I use Matte, Paper Canvas, or Ultra Premium Gloss, depending on the subject. If you prefer a certain finish please select the one you prefer, when ordering. I photograph Nature, Scenery, Trees, and Animals, especially Cats & Lions! I use digital filters and optimization to create abstract designs from my original photographs, to accentuate and highlight color, feelings or a message.

I love designing cards that are unusual, abstract, and at the same time, thought provoking. I think everyone should send more cards to the people they care about and keep in touch, more often. You probably won't save an email in a scrapbook, but a handmade card - I hope you would!
