Fine Art Photography from around the Globe.

Wanderlust. I've had it since being a wee toddler, and I've never been cured of it. Truth is, wanderlust is incurable, and I'm the happier for it.

Traveling for me is a thrilling combination of delight and slight trepidation. Kind of like when you’re slowly climbing the first monumental hill of a roller coaster, right before the car creeps its way over the steepest point and you drop into oblivion. That's how I feel right before I take off to an unknown destination. It doesn't matter how many Fodors or Frommers travel books you read, how many on-line resources you research about the country and culture you aim to visit, literary text and pictures are limited in their ability to capture the true essence of a new world. No, it takes palpable components to make it happen. You must breathe, smell, taste, and visibly observe a place to capture it's soul. You have to "touch" it.

And that is what I set out to do, touch the soul of a world's destination with my photography. It is the only tangible evidence of a memory that won't fade, wither or disappear.
A memory ingrained and framed, both in symbolically and quite literally.

C'est La Vie Art is an expression of how I view the world through my lens while traveling through five continents and thirty-five countries, to date. I hope to give you a piece of the world through my art. A way to vicariously travel with me, explore with me. It is a happy marriage of two of my great loves: Travel and Photography, and now it can be yours...
