Heartmade treasures with a dash of childlike magic
Hello, and welcome!
My name is Miasha Priscilla Wilson, and I’m the artist, maker, writer, and heart behind Cilla Art Creations—heartmade treasures with a dash of childlike magic.
Cilla Art Creations grew from my love of making beautiful things and my belief that creativity can meet us in all kinds of places: in joy, in grief, in healing, in curiosity, and sometimes simply in the delight of seeing something that makes us smile.
Here you’ll find artwork and handcrafted creations shaped by color, imagination, storytelling, faith, and a willingness to play. From watercolor and mixed-media artwork to greeting cards, bookmarks, journals, literary works, and other handmade treasures, each piece carries a little of the way I see the world—soft, colorful, imperfect, thoughtful, and still capable of wonder.
Faith & Foundation
My creative life has been deeply shaped by faith, family, loss, restoration, and the experiences that have taught me to look for beauty even in difficult spaces.
I have lived through seasons of profound loss and uncertainty, as well as seasons of rebuilding. Throughout them, God’s presence, the love of my family, writing, and creative expression have been constants.
Scripture reminds us not to despise humble beginnings. Cilla Art Creations began as something deeply personal—a place to create, process, experiment, and heal. Over time, it became something more: an invitation to share warmth, beauty, encouragement, imagination, and a little bit of childlike magic with others.
That sense of wonder matters to me.
Growing older should not require us to stop being delighted by tiny birds, woodland creatures, bright flowers, unexpected colors, whimsical characters, handwritten words, or a little cabin tucked away somewhere in the trees.
Why I Create
Color is language. Art tells stories. Making is discovery.
I create because there is something wonderful about beginning with an idea—or sometimes no real plan at all—and watching it become something tangible.
I’m drawn to nature, animals, expressive color, texture, words, ordinary moments, and images that leave room for imagination. Some pieces are quiet and reflective. Others are playful. Some carry deeper symbolism, while others exist simply because they made me happy to create.
That freedom is an important part of Cilla Art Creations.
I believe softness can be strength. I believe handmade things carry something special because a person spent time imagining, choosing, experimenting, adjusting, and creating them. And I believe we never have to outgrow wonder.
My Creative Process
My work begins in my studio, surrounded by sketchbooks, paints, markers, papers, fabrics, books, beads, tools, and the assorted bits and pieces that creative people somehow convince themselves they will absolutely need someday.
I work across a variety of mediums, including watercolor, acrylics, ink, markers, papercrafting, fabric, and mixed media. Rather than limiting myself to one material or style, I choose what best helps me express the idea in front of me.
My sketchbooks are places for practice, experimentation, study, and play. They hold everything from drawing exercises and watercolor studies to unfinished ideas and unexpected discoveries that eventually find their way into finished work.
Sometimes inspiration begins with something I photograph on a walk. Sometimes it comes from a book, a flower, an animal, a memory, a piece of fabric, or a color combination I can’t stop thinking about. I also use responsibly sourced creative resources—including licensed illustrations, stamps, clip art, and digital reference tools—when appropriate to particular handcrafted designs.
Digital tools may help me explore an idea or develop a reference, but the joy for me is in what happens afterward: interpreting, drawing, painting, layering, cutting, assembling, sewing, writing, and making the piece my own.
Every creation is part experiment, part story, and part discovery.
A Dash of Childlike Magic
There is a reason those words have become part of the heart of Cilla Art Creations.
Childlike magic isn’t about making things only for children. It’s about keeping the part of ourselves that still wonders, imagines, notices, plays, and delights in beautiful little things.
It’s the part that can look at a painted frog and give him a personality.
The part that wonders who might live in the little cabin hidden in the woods.
The part that still believes a handwritten card can make someone’s day.
And the part of us that knows growing up and growing serious do not have to mean becoming less curious.
That is the little spark I hope you find somewhere in the things I make.
Thank you for visiting my shop and for allowing something made by my hands and imagination to become part of your story.
With gratitude,
Miasha Wilson
