Hello from the art studio!

I've been an artist all my life. I went to art school and ended up working as a commercial artist for 20 years - mostly designing video games. During that time everything I did was digital art – but I also wanted to paint in traditional media. So, I spent as much time as possible travelling and painting on location. Most of that work was in watercolor, as it's the best media for travel-sketching.

But! As of 2018 I finally achieved my goal of having a dedicated painting studio where I can create work in oils.

Oil paint is so different from drawing and watercolor painting. It’s thick, rich and so subtle in the color it offers the artist. It’s been a deep dive for me – almost two years of painting nearly every day.

I’ve decided to offer the very best of my smaller works – everything here (at the time of writing) is 10x10”. I love this size. The paintings are little gems. They’re like little windows into another world - and – these are affordable paintings that we can ship to you at no extra charge!

I love living with these paintings. Every day they bring joy to my home. I hope you find one we can share with you.
