My story is that I have always been an artist in one way or another growing up and in school that was my outlet. As early as I can remember, I have always been creating something from scratch, always crafting and painting or making something out of paper or clay, taking photos, drawing with pastels, or charcoal. My mother always loved my art and encouraged me and my friends to be authentic.

My Grandma taught me to crochet and then later a friends mom brought together a little group of middle schooler's and showed us how to create and relate to one another. This was my best childhood friend who later moved away after college and we lost touch for awhile. I found out later that she was creating these really fantastic photo cards and I tried to get back in touch with her to get a coffee and talk about our lives and her photo cards. I was too late because she was diagnosed with cancer and then my mom passed away, and then my friend. I was devastated and I poured myself into my art trying to feel better about things. Everyday I worked on the material finding and creating beautiful inspirational photos , the designs, website, the creation of the themes and then the construction of the art cards and prints. All the cards are handmade and It wasn't easy because in between I was working several part time jobs, and a full time job as a mom.

Throughout the last four or five years, I have only wanted to be heard and to have my story told through art, through poetry and through photography. I hope you enjoy these beautiful, heart felt creations. The story of my life in pictures.
