How do I know if the clothes will fit?

**MEASURE, MEASURE, MEASURE. It is important that you read the sizing chart carefully. Measure with a tape measure and compare with the sizing chart BEFORE placing your order. Returns are not the most convenient, but I want all of my customers to be happy, so I will honor them ONLY if it's the wrong size or it doesn't fit. I will honor a replacement of the same product, in a different size.
Each listing for apparel will contain the sizing chart and more information in the item description. It is very important that you refer to the chart before deciding on the size. I cannot emphasize this enough.

My item is broken or damaged. What do I do?

If the item was defective, damaged, somehow destroyed in shipping, I will replace for an identical item.
I will request for you to take a picture of the damaged item with the receipt in the picture as well, and message that to me. I will then arrange for a replacement to be mailed to you.

What happens if I need to change my address after the order is placed?

**PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR ADDRESS IS CORRECT BEFORE PLACING AN ORDER. Depending on the item, there is a 12-hour window of time with my printer that I can change the address on an order. After 12 hours, the address cannot be changed.

I received the item and it's not the size/color/dimensions/etc. that I thought it was. What do I do?

If your item is not clothing, an exchange/return will not be provided.
Each listing provides important details, including sizing/color, dimensions. It is incumbent on the client to read the description of the listing before placing an order. An informed and educated client is my goal when creating the listings to help you make your decision.

Do you have rush shipping?

At this time Legal Grins does not offer any form of rush shipping. I contract with a printing company to print many of the products and I am prohibited from requesting that they prioritize a shipment. Each listing does contain the amount of time it takes to print and prepare the item before shipping.
Production time means printing and preparing and it is the period BEFORE an item is shipped. So if a listing says "2-7 business days", it means there are two to seven BUSINESS days for the preparation and production of that item before it is mailed out. Business days is Monday through Friday. Then the mailing time will be however long first class USPS mail will take to reach you.

I just placed my order and I want to change an item. What do I do?

Unless you contact me within 12 hours, I cannot alter your order. Depending on the item ordered, the products are sent to production right away and no alterations are permitted after 12 hours. This includes changing the sizing, color, design attributes, and/or quantity.
Items are predesigned beforehand. If you are wanting to change the color, variations of a listing, you will need to contact me BEFORE purchasing so we can discuss and implement said changes.
Please contact me FIRST if you would like a design modified in any way and I will do my best to accommodate. Once purchased, the design/color/layout cannot be changed after 12 hours from purchase.

I left you a note during the ordering process. Did you get it?

When making a purchase in Etsy, because of its unique design and layout, they have a box at the bottom to leave a note to the store owner. This note is not sent to me. It is an addendum to the receipt. Store owners in Etsy do not receive a notification that they have a note to read. However, I look at each and every order receipt to see if a note was left.
Please know that order details and shipping addresses cannot be changed if it has been more than 12 hours after your purchase. Within 12 hours of purchase, I can change, cancel, alter your order. Please contact me during that window of time. Legal Grins reserves the right to decline refunds after that 12-hour window is closed.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Each listing will provide the length of time it takes. Production time means the length of days the item will be in printing and preparing. "2 to 7 business days" means that the item will be in the preparation phase for up to seven business days. Please remember it is BUSINESS DAYS, so that is Monday through Friday.
After the production time is finished, it will be shipped via first class USPS mail. That time depends on how long it takes to ship from my printing provider to your address.
