beautiful purple color - as suggested, I washed it alone and it did turn some old towels a little purple - but after that the dye was good to go in the reg wash. Really want to buy one of their jackets :)

Davidson Studio - artists of 3 generations and multiple mediums

Davidson Studio is a studio of three artists who love to make things. We have a textile background, but love to dabble in many mediums.

Since opening our shop, we have been able to expand our reach of the items that we enjoy making. It also provides valuable feedback of what customers would like to purchase for themselves or for their homes.

The hand dyed jackets became a hit when I made the first one about 5 years ago. I get compliments whenever I wear it. I since have expanded my own collection and the collection that you see in this shop.

Anita is an artist, seamstress and quilter. As a quilter, she is active in the Des Moines Quilters Guild and the American Quilters Society. She earns ribbons for her quilts at the Iowa State Fair and has been published in the AQS magazine.

Maker, Designer, Sculptor And Fiber Artist

Kim gained skills in fashion and clothing construction in high school. She has since evolved her skills in art school to fiber and sculpture. You will find items in the shop that she loves making and will help fund her future art career.
