We specialize in custom made clothing for children and teens. Every dress comes with a free hair bow to go with the quality made garment that is meant to last and fit perfectly. Loving care is put into everything in our shop and our goal is that everyone who makes a purchase is completely satisfied.
I am a mother of 4 and grandmother of 7. I had two daughters I sewed for when they were growing up and now have 2 granddaughters that I sew for. Nothing is more darling than a little girl in a beautiful dress. So with my gift of sewing and my oldest daughter's gift of putting fabric together, we decided to share the dresses I make for her 2 daughters with other little girls.
Our goal is to have stylish dresses and yet not compromise the modesty of the garment. We also custom make our clothing to fit each little girl individually, knowing everyone is built differently.
As I am now retired and my daughter is a stay at home Mom with her 4 children, we are enjoying the learning experience of our shop which we appropriately named Delicately Dressed.

5 out of 5 starsBeautiful dress, expertly made, that gets compliments left and right. Comfortable for the kids, but also elegant enough to wear for Picture Day. Loved the custom sizing, and that I could get matching dresses for all three of my daughters. Even came with matching hair clips!

5 out of 5 starsGorgeous dresses--everyone who sees them compliments them! Comfortable for summer, but can be worn with a long-sleeved shell to wear year-round. The matching and removable belt with flower is a nice extra touch (though I would hand-wash that; otherwise the flower starts to fray).

(I wanted them long, so the girls could wear them for more than one season, so I appreciated being able to specify the length myself.) Diane and Melissa were great about communicating about the order! Highly recommended.

My part in Delicately Dressed is almost everything but the actual sewing. I use my talent for being able to picture color and fabric together for our dresses. My two daughters make great models and are the reason for this adventure.
