I started Designs By Debilee here on Etsy in June 2012. My husband and I both have an interest in designing and creating a variety of unique, OOAK, handcrafted items. We have been dallying in so many different ideas over the years and it seems like 2012 was the year that we started fine tuning what we like.

For me, it has been my decoupaged plates. I love the wide array of fabric selections available ...it's almost overwhelming at times... I see the fabric on these plates as my own personal sketch board, where I can choose to continue to tell the story in the fabric by adding embellishments, or I can just let the fabric stand alone, letting it speak for itself. The ideas can be boundless! Each plate I work with always fills me with such excitement. That's what makes my plates unique!

My husband and I also find beauty in the odd, bizarre, and sometimes macabre that is found all throughout our planet. You, our fine customer, will see that reflected throughout my shop as well. As the headline reads, this shop will continue to be a work in progress as we continue to grow in our creativity. There will be sections that include other projects I have completed and, at some point in the near future, you will see a section that contains my husbands work as well.
