We make band saw boxes, puzzle boxes, fused glass jewelry, art cards, photographic prints, hair forks and sticks, wood spoons and hand hewn bowls.. pocket and lipstick mirrors, buttons and pins and magnets.. all from our original art photos or paintings or drawings... We knit, crochet and sometimes work in clay.

We believe in freedom and we believe in the power of kindness, love and mutual respect and consideration.

Other things we have in common (other than genes) are a love for nature and all things living. We love the process and take pride in each item we make. We are individuals and have strong opinions. We don't do trendy. We sign our work and take responsibility for it. We also take responsibility for our choices in life. We are not neat. We love to read. We cook from scratch and eat little or no meat.. We care intensely about the world and the people in it. We expect no special treatment, yet we know we are a little different. We also know we are not that different from indigenous artisans working long hours on dirt floors doing hand work. Work is our friend - and we are grateful that we can do it.

Our lives are full of creativity, pets, dust, books, projects, papers, doodles, lists of things to do and things we will never get around to doing.

Phil and Martha collaborate on the design and execution of their beautiful sculptural containers, kitchen ware, puzzles and hair accessories.. Collaborating on design and the implementation since 1972, they are grateful for the opportunity to continue to design and create new work.

Elisabeth works in several mediums - Wire, Glass, Textiles and illustration. She is self taught and her work is in collections around the world. Her work evolves and is mostly one of a kind in a series.. or one of a kind. She has made her living doing her work for over 20 years.

Nathan is a painter, poet and photographer.. Focusing on nothing - he does fine art images, sculptures, portraiture, and many music events. You will find some of his images in the pocket mirrors and pins - as well as pendants.. He is available internationally at www.NBPhotography.com
