Living a creative life

I’m an artist and maker, obsessed with color, contrast and layers. I truly enjoy painting a variety of subjects whether it be nature, still life or the human figure.
Born and raised in Ohio, Where I live with my husband, six children (three children still at home) and one grandchild.

I’m a self developed artist. My primary medium is acrylic, although I often incorporate a variety of mediums and techniques including but limited to ink, collage, pen and metal leaf.

I don’t start out to reproduce a photograph. My intent is to evoke a feeling in my paintings.
