Doménico C. V. Talarico is a German artist with Italian background, who lives and works in Berlin.
Based on vintage photography from the "Belle Epoque" and after Doménico deals with the concept of own identity. These forgotten characters get involved into new stories as actors from the past – reminding the viewers of their own remain.
Domenico’s paintings are fluent, have often become blurred and held in a unique color spectrum. They invite to look closer and get lost in the dreamy and also macabre atmosphere he creates. Old aesthetic hits on illustrative painting and mediates thus between the worlds.
