I live and create in the Azores Islands, Middle of the Atlantic Ocean. The jewels, the textiles and adornments in my shop are created by me in my island studio.
I don't much care for the endless sameness of the production line disposable.
Found objects, upcycled worn relic finds, art beads..other artisan creations, all fill me with wonder. These are the raw materials, along with quality vintage findings, which become the one of a kind art pendants you will find in my shop. Each can take days, months, years..depending on the inspiration. :)
Textiles and fabrics have been a part of me forever. I strive for timelessness. The scarves, wraps, shawls are created to last, to be passed on. To wear well for years, generations, the raw materials used need be of the best quality. The finishing of each handwoven, handknitted, is a lengthy, careful, loving process.
I can do custom orders..do have a look at my sold orders, too. Most of these 'jewels' can be recreated once again, perhaps not exactly the same, yet special.
The old world charm of the portuguese blue and white tiles found in Portugal on the old homes, churches and estates become the miniature tile pendants in my shop. Created one by one, each is unique. If there is a saint, a name, word, letter or number you would like, but don't see in my shop..just ask! Most likely I have it or can create a special order.
Special jewels deserve special boxes. EarthsAzores gems come in their own handpainted wood boxes or handmade vintage velvet pouches.

This is a magical land, ever inspiring. Some say it may be Lost Atlantis,For me, it is middle-earth, and every detail of my work reflects the overwhelming, almost magical presence of nature that is found here in every glance, every nook, every hidden path and secret garden.
It is my aspiration that every wearer of my creations will experience, somehow.. this magic.

I do offer lay-away (send me a note and ask..:) and can reserve a listing for up to 5 days if you need some extra time.
Payment should be made after three days of purchase, if not the transaction will be canceled. If you are having problems with check-out, or for any other reason, please let me know and I can postpone re-listing of item.

I am not responsible for your country's custom taxes.
I usually ship within 36 hours of purchase (excluding weekends) by CTT ( Portugal Post) mail which takes between 7 to 21 days to arrive,WITHOUT tracking.
Tracking numbers only come with priority mail. For an additional cost of $6.00 this can be provided, please see shipping options when checking out.)
I will mail a second package/order out if the buyer has not received the first mailing in 6 weeks and agrees to return the first package to me if and when they receive it.

Each EarthsAzores 'jewel' come with their own unique hand painted wooden boxes or velvet 'pouches'.
I am aware of our planet's troubles for this reason I use recycled mailing envelopes and bubble wrap. If you prefer new packaging just mention that in the message to seller in the checkout.
