Origami has been my number one hobby for some time. Since the day my Mom brought home an origami instructional video from the library when I was 11 I realized that I have a gift for folding. Since then I have explored many facets and styles of paper and paper folding, always seeking new challenges.

While challenging designs really intrigue me, I have found that the simple ones are sometimes the most fun to fold and the most enjoyed by others, and the true joy of folding is making something beautiful for others to enjoy. As such I was excited when several years ago I was introduced to the concept of making origami into jewelry, and saw it as the perfect way to share the simple delights of origami with others.

And so this Etsy shop was born. More of a hobby than a business, I simply make earrings when I have the time, give some as gifts, and put the rest on sale. I am always challenging myself with origami, and so many of the earrings I make are one of a kind.
