I have always loved nature and wild animals. I live in Canada in the beautiful mountain community of Argenta, British Columbia in a Natural Earth Cob home. I create my felted art in my cozy straw-bale studio next to my home where I see deer and bears wander by my windows often.

My love of fibers and the sweet, soft, wool of the english angora rabbit led to an exploration of wet and dry felting. My current work is hand-felted and constructed from merino, corriedale, english angora wool, alpaca wool and silk.

Reducing my footprint on the planet is really important to me. I make every effort in my business by:
* Sourcing my wool locally from sheep and rabbits that have been lovingly cared for.
* I use "green silk" which means that the silk worm is allowed to live out it's life and the cocoon is harvested after the worm abandons it.
* I reuse my scraps of felt, nothing goes unused
* I walk a very short way down the road to the post office to ship packages ... so close, no need to drive.
