NOTE: Unless otherwise noted, all of the findings (ear wires, wire, chain, etc.) used in the creation of our jewelry is plated. Plated findings typically have a brass core, with a thin layer of the metal color that you see on top. This means that it will tarnish (become a brown color; wear out) over time. We use plated materials to keep our prices as low as they are. To properly care for your jewelry, store each item in a closed container and away from other jewelry. Also, try to avoid letting your jewelry come in contact with water or extreme moisture. If you'd like something upgraded to sterling silver or gold-filled, we would love to talk to you about the possibility of that!
