I am a graphic designer/marketing professional by day but my passion is mid century design. As a child of the 60's, I have a very strong connection to pieces from that era. They bring back wonderful childhood memories and invoke a sense of comfort.

Curating the items for my shop is a true joy. When I was little, I wanted to be an archaeologist. Now, I am able to fulfill that dream by hunting for hidden treasure at estate sales, auctions, thrift stores and other vintage outlets. One of my favorite parts is cleaning the items I find. There is nothing like cleaning decades of dust and grime off of an old relic to reveal its hidden beauty. It amazes me how well these old pieces stand the test of time and how well they are taken care of over the years.

There is also a fulfilling feeling that comes with recycling old pieces so that they can be new once again. I care very much about the environment and our impact on it. There are so many great vintage pieces out there just waiting for a new life - why buy new? Things manufactured back in the mid to late 20th century were made very well and have stood the test of time. Not like today's cheap knock-offs. These older pieces have character and style, but they also have durability and longevity.

And, I like the idea of taking things that were once loved very much by their previous owners who have taken such good care of them, and giving them a new life with someone who will appreciate them once again.
