I'm sorry You don't like the basket. As i offered you can return it for full refund including return shipping. We build these out of reclaimed lumber in the crate style of construction and consider them a low cost hardwood alternative to plastic baskets.As stated in the posting there is no poly or varnish but they have been coated in linseed oil. Which is a coating we happen to prefer.We would be happy to stain or coat them otherwise by request.Thanks for your inquiry and anything I can do to rectify within means will be done. Thanks, John

5 out of 5 starswonderful, wonderful, wonderful! I cannot say enough good things about this seller or their syrup! It is NOT like the maple syrup you get from the supermarket, as this is evaporated over an old-school wood fire. It is strongly mapley with a slight hint of smoke. It's amazing stuff. Will definitely be a long-time customer!!
