Announcement Happy Spring! Greenhouse Glassworks offers free shipping within the US on all items in my shop.

I specialize in original fused glass jewelry and stained glass and fused glass home décor. My fused glass pendants, earrings and hair accessories make wonderful gifts. Bring color and light into your home with my unique stained glass candle holders, suncatchers, plates, mini bowls and other beautiful glass items.

All of these fused glass and stained glass creations are original designs and handmade personally in my “Greenhouse” Glass Studio that overlooks our small horse farm in Western Colorado. The plants, wide open spaces and menagerie of animals are a continual source of inspiration and entertainment. I take pride in personally constructing each piece for a high quality, unique product.

If there are any designs that you would like in a different color, please contact me and I will see what glass I have available!

It continually amazes me how many things you can create with glass.

I have been surrounded by art and glass since I can remember. My mother is a talented stained glass artist, and I was always in awe of the large windows she would create.

Although I loved art and creating while I was growing up, I ended up taking the scientific route for college studies and my current career. I am employed as a wildlife biologist, and have a true respect for the beauty and complexity of our natural world.

The glass shop that I have on Etsy - "Greenhouse Glassworks" - allows me to nuture my creative side. After a day of technical writing and meetings, it is very relaxing to head out to my glass studio and build something with my hands. I enjoy working with both stained glass and fused glass, and get easily distracted when it comes to designing new projects. You will find that most of my items are one of a kind creations.

In addition to glasswork, I also have a strong passion for nature illustration. I love to study wildflowers and songbirds, and then bring them to life with Prismacolor colored pencils. You will find a small collection of gift tags and thank you notes in my Etsy shop that use reproductions of my colored pencil drawings.

I am so lucky to have a guest studio on our 10 acre horse farm that doubles as my glass studio. It is called the "Greenhouse" because the front of the building is all glass windows, and has large dirt planters. We grow enormous jade plants and geraniums - as well as tomatos and fresh herbs.
