Who is Hannah?

I started Hats for Hannah in the summer of 2011 in memory of our daughter. She was diagnosed with a terminal birth defect when I was 5 months pregnant. Although we were given the option to terminate the pregnancy, we chose to carry her to term due to our faith and the amount of love we already had for her. We made many memories with her during the rest of the pregnancy and were blessed with 5 amazing days with her! I crocheted many special things for her and continue to crochet and donate to the local Hospice and hospital that helped us through our journey with her. She has been such a blessing in our lives and Hats for Hannah helps keep her memory alive by allowing me to share her story and continue to donate to other families in similar situations.
