Frequently asked questions
Do you accept returns?
Yes! Holliepoint accepts returns in exchange for store credit in the amount of the purchase price of the item. This credit never expires and it can be used during sales or in combination with other promotions. The item must be returned unworn and in the condition in which it was shipped. Please contact me within three days of delivery, item must be shipped back within seven days of original delivery. Buyers within the European Union must contact me within 14 days of receiving the item. Buyers in all other locations must please contact me within three days of receiving the item.
Do you offer reserves and layaway?
Yes! The following policies apply: an item cannot be reserved or put on layaway within 24 hours of its original listing time unless a deposit of 50% is made at that time. After this timeframe Items may be reserved for 24 hours without a deposit and items may be reserved or put on layaway for longer periods with a 20% non-refundable deposit.
PLEASE NOTE: The shop will be closed from August 24th to October 7th. I am therefore unable to offer layaway during the month of August 2019.
What is your processing time for an order?
Items are generally shipped within 1-3 business days of purchase. In the case of a shipping delay an announcement will be made on the shop's homepage.
What is the condition of your items?
I try to maintain a very high standard of condition for the vintage items offered at Hollie Point. With very few exceptions, most items are cleaned and properly repaired prior to listing. If I say "excellent" condition, I mean excellent condition. The vast majority of my sales are to repeat customers for just that reason. I never want anyone to be disappointed with their purchase so I do my very best to describe even minor flaws. Yes, even pinholes and little spots. Nondisclosure of flaws is unethical and it's just bad business. While some light, general, signs of wear and use are to be expected (loose threads, uniform fade, etc.), if you find undisclosed true flaws please let me know. I will do my best to make you happy!
