Really tasteful and unique pieces, exactly what you would want from a handcrafted piece. My light switch cover is warped from the firing process, so it doesn’t fit flush with the wall and was a little tricky to get the screws in. But it’s still very cute and one of a kind, really fits in with my home’s midcentury decor.

From waitress to farmer's market vendor to artist!

After being an art major in college I continued to paint and make art for personal exploration and enjoyment. When the economy was good it was easy to support myself working as a waitress with plenty of time for art making. As rents tripled and the economy got challenging I decided to use my creative skills to more industrious ends. I was living in a beautiful home that my boyfriend built himself and I just couldn't bear the sight of plastic switch plates next to the beautiful recycled lumber that he painstakingly finished the walls with. I searched for switch plates to buy and could find none that satisfied me so I tried my hand at creating my own, and that is how my business was born.

Santa Cruz, CA

Catto's Graphics, located in my home town, creates employment for my local economy. In a 10 minute drive from my home I can meet with the owner Scott to work on the graphic designs, I can try the hats on, and see the embroidery process.
