House of Vain came about one day when I was looking at all of the items that I have that I do not wear for one reason or another. I thought if I started to change them that maybe I would like them more and actually wear them. Fortunately I ended up loving the first pair of shorts that I studded out and the first vest that I made so I decided to keep making things. It never hurts knowing that you can go out and no one will be wearing the same outfit as you :) I have a strong passion to live a creative life, and designing the items for House of Vain has helped to fulfill that passion.
