Our shop, Inspired Window, hypothetically started 9 years ago when we married. I found a vintage window and asked a dear friend to paint our favorite Mark Twain quote on it. Over the years I'd hunt for antique windows and personalize them with baby names, inspiring phrases and gift them for baby showers and birthday presents.

And so the dream turned reality last year when we decided to go for it, to actually start a window inventory, build signs from wood fencing and pallets, and turn bare canvases into custom designed pieces of inspired art. With three mediums, we have something for every taste and decorating bent, from cottage chic to ultra modern. We love working with people to create whimsy designs and sentimental words on the aesthetic of their choice.

Now, our little shop keeping us quite busy! Combined with my job as a free-lance writer and a small business owner, we desire to inspire others daily to see blessings in the everyday, to find beauty in the junk.
