I started my candle shop in my kitchen. When I first started to make candles I started with soy wax and I made wax melts in all different styles and shapes. They are very unique and some have a texture feel to them but it is all wax. (flowers, animals, flip flops, veggies, fruit). I also started pouring the wax in antique or vintage glassware that I had found at thrift stores or goodwill stores. I was making candles for my family and friends and for gifts. It then started moving into making more candles that were more unique and looked like the real thing, such as martini's, Banana splits, veggie tray with dip. I had a friend who then got interested in helping me make candles to sale in a shop we work at. We now make candles of all types. We also take these candles to craft shows and festivals. Louise is the lady who helps make candles. Louise has now started making wreaths which will be listed in our store real soon. I started weaving about 2 years ago. I started with simple baskets and now I do animals and other items.
