I hope that this section tells you everything you need to know about Islay Bower's Vintage Thingummies, home of all things crafty and vintage, plus a couple of vintage inspired gifts made by yours truly!

All the vintage goods you see have been accumulated by me over years and years of scouring house clearances, boot fairs, flea markets, charity shops and anywhere else that I can find boxes of buttons and scraps of fabric to play with. I adore collecting these things, and craft a lot with them, but I finally felt the need to share the gorgeousness, and so Vintage Thingummies was born.

IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT BUYING VINTAGE:
I describe items to the best of my knowledge, but I am only human. I want you to be happy with your purchase, so if you feel I have made an error in describing an item, please let me know asap so we can sort it out.
If I describe an item as vintage, this means that it has been around a while, and has usually already been used and loved. While I will always point out any damage or flaws, some items will have marks or damage that I have not noticed. While I feel that this only adds to the charm of buying vintage, I suggest you contact me for more information if you are looking for an absolutely flawless piece, as all pieces are sold as seen and I will only offer refunds within my usual refund policy.
All my items are stored in a smoke free, pet free home, but the nature of vintage means that occasionally things have already acquired a slight odour before reaching my care. Where this is the case I will state this clearly in the item listing.
